The Asia Pacific Advanced Network (APAN, www.apan.net) holds two large meetings every year, on the development and use of National Research and Education Networks (NREN), to support research, education and benefits to society. The Asia-Pacific Advanced Network 37th Meeting (APAN37) was held in Bandung, Indonesia from 20-24 January 2014. The FELIX-EU coordinator has been invited to give a talk on first experiences from bilateral collaboration between Europe and Japan on SDN during the Future Internet Testbed session.
